What Takda is
Takda is billing operations software for freelancers and small agencies. It helps you track timesheets, generate invoices, and manage related expense and leave records. Takda is not a tax filing service and does not provide BIR compliance filing, tax advice, or government submission on your behalf.
Account responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of billing, client, and timesheet data you enter into Takda. You must keep your login credentials secure and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
Subscription billing and cancellation
Paid plans are billed according to the tier you select (such as Solo or Team) through our payment provider, PayMongo. You may cancel a paid subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Access to paid features continues until that period ends unless otherwise stated in your billing settings.
Acceptable use
You may not use Takda for unlawful purposes, attempt to circumvent plan or entitlement limits, probe or abuse shared infrastructure, or interfere with other customers' use of the service.
Data handling
We process personal and business data you provide in order to operate the service. Our handling of personal information is guided by the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173). You remain responsible for having a lawful basis to store client and worker data in your Takda workspace.
Limitation of liability
Takda is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, J.R. Sasing Software Development Services is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Takda, including lost profits, lost data, or billing disputes with your clients.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Disputes arising from these terms or your use of Takda are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Philippines, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that may apply.
Dispute resolution
If you have a dispute with us, contact support@takda.dev first so we can attempt a good-faith resolution directly. For card-payment disputes or potential chargebacks, please reach out to us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer; most billing issues can be resolved quickly and directly. Disputes that cannot be resolved amicably are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, with venue in the appropriate courts of Mandaue City, Cebu, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that may apply.
